Our Services

Our practice is devoted to the provision of anesthesia services, general anesthesia and sedation, in the office of your dentist, dental specialist, or oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Office-based anesthesia services have become well established as a safe alternative to the hospital environment with proper clinician training, monitoring, preparation and experience. As such, we bring to each office all necessary anesthesia and resuscitation equipment. Patients receive our undivided attention throughout their office visit. Our attention to detail is well known. It begins as soon as your anesthesia appointment is scheduled.

General anesthesia and sedation are anesthetic management techniques that use intravenous and inhalation anesthetics to create relaxation, a lack of awareness, and either sleep or unconsciousness. Intravenous sedation is a safe, anxiety-free, and convenient means of completing your dental treatment while you lightly sleep. In some circumstances a general anesthetic may be strongly recommended due to the extensiveness of the proposed treatment or patient factors such as age, past negative experiences, or medical conditions.

It is natural for individuals who require an anesthetic for dental or surgical procedures to have concerns. Nothing is more important than keeping you informed. Our web site may answer some of your questions but, first and foremost, we encourage you to contact us to have all your remaining questions answered; from our initial conversations and directions on preparation for the anesthetic, to when you have arrived home following discharge from your doctor’s office.

As a consultant and a resource to your dentist or surgeon, we have devoted a considerable amount of time with them reviewing the anesthetic services we provide, the required office resources and staff, as well as protocols that are followed to provide a safe anesthetic. However, if there is a specific dentist or dental specialist you wish us to contact on your behalf we will be happy to do that for you. We are frequently contacted by dentists and dental specialists who are interested in working with experienced clinicians to incorporate anesthesia services.

We provide office-based anesthesia services in Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Manhattan, Rockland and Westchester County, New York, as well as in Fairfield County, Connecticut and Northern New Jersey.
